I love teaching, and I love homeschooling!

“Spero” is the Latin word that means “hope / I have hope.” This little corner of the internet is my little candle of hope for all homeschool parents who are courageously setting out on this shared journey. The word is also a literary pun on the phrase from an old American gospel song reminding me that God’s “eye is on the sparrow, / And I know He watches me.”

Katie Webster is the founder and primary educator at The Spero School, and has over 20 years of teaching experience in a wide variety of educational settings - from the classroom to small tutorial settings to individual one-on-one tutoring. She holds a B. S. and an M. Ed. in English Education as well as current NH state certification. But the dearest of all educational journeys has been the high privilege of home schooling her own children.
